Animal Awareness Program

Every effort is being made by your County Animal Control Department to educate the public as to proper pet responsibility. The desire to educate the youth of today as to their obligations towards their animals is one of the key goals of this department. Animal Awareness and Pet Responsibility mini-seminars have been presented to a number of the County’s Middle and Elementary schools in an effort to assist in making today’s young people better and more responsible pet owners. These presentations are offered free to schools, Churches, clubs or any organization that wishes to learn more about pets and their place in our lives and society’s.
